Evonik Foams, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Evonik Industries, manufactures SOLIMIDE® polyimide foam products and SOLCOUSTIC™ duct liner for a wide range of defense, industrial and commercial applications.

SOLIMIDE foams are known for their unique fire resistance, low smoke and toxic gas production, and wide operating temperature range. The open-celled polyimide foams are lightweight, easy to fabricate and durable.

SOLCOUSTIC duct liner is specifically designed as a non-fibrous acoustical and thermal lining for sheet metal plenums and ducts in air conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems with service temperatures up to 250°F (121°C). The acrylic polymer coating contains an immobilized, EPA-registered preservative that will not support the growth of fungi or bacteria.
